Recent damage and stains to the furniture were very extensive. We have replaced and reupholstered and so we ask that our guest just skip serving BBQ at the house. Sorry about this but it's impossible to get it out of the linen and cotton upholstery and white cushion covers. :) Bonus: Love our Large Outside enclosed shower. Gorgeous, Soft, Turkish Pool towels provided. Should you decide to add an additional night or two, once you are here, just let us know. We can be very flexible and many times guests decide to extend by a day or so. It is fine as long as we don't have a conflicting incoming reservation. Large Live Oak Trees, Tall Pines, Blue Flowers, Ferns Beds, Fruit Trees, Jasmine, and Roses add to the beauty of the property. Multiple herds of deer grazing on the property is a daily occurrence. Lots of new fawns every spring and they are so sweet. We also have a few massive and regal bucks that love the yard so if you keep an eye out you are sure to see them all. Privacy Is A Major Bonus: The home is situated on a large lot with plenty of parking for guests. This is a fantastic neighborhood! If you are a runner or enjoy a nice walk then you will love this neighborhood. If you have any special requests prior to arrival just let us know. We try to keep our home fully stocked with most everything you may need but sometimes special request are made & we will do our best to help make your stay as pleasant as possible. There is (standard fare) wine in the bar. Red is in the wine cabinet and white is in the wine cooler. There are plenty of soft drinks in the butler's pantry refrigerator. All of the items in the refrigerator and pantry are there for you to use. Items like salad dressing, spices and anything else. It is all there for you. Publix Grocery - will deliver your Publix order within 2 hours of placing your order online. It's pretty amazing actually because it is such a time saver, offers great deals and the personal shoppers are super helpful. They communicate via text messages as they are shopping for your order. So convenient. Fresh Market, Trader Joe's, Whole Foods and Super Target and Walmart are the Northside Grocery stores. Publix is closest. Fresh Market, Trader Joes, and Whole Foods are fantastic grocery stores so it's really up to you. Starbucks is just up the road. DAO is a new Japanese eatery at Bannerman Crossing/the menu is diverse and the food is fantastic. Fast food: Chinese Nihou delivers, Dunkin Donuts, Zaxby's, Wendy's, Firehouse Subs, Pizza Delivery, Subway are all very close by and there is another Great Sushi place located next to Hurricane's. Restaurants: The best steaks in the city are downtown at Shula's, Cypress and The Edison or Very nearby is the new Blue Halo - We highly recommend you make a reservation ASAP if you guys are planning to go out to eat on football weekends. It is crazy busy and the best restaurants get booked up early. Catering Services: arrangements can be made if this is of interest. Seafood: Southern Seafood - will prepare the shrimp, cook it (Old Bay Seasoning), peel it, etc. Also, if you want to serve oysters, they will send staff out to actually shuck the oysters for you. We live on 1 acre tucked between tall trees with deer that visit our property on a regular basis. Our house and large three car garage are separated by a covered breezeway. Our guest house, which is approximately 1000 sq. ft. with 10 foot ceilings, is above the garage with a private entrance. Guests choose their own four-digit key code at the front door to have access. We are 14 minutes from Publix, Target, and Walmart, and 12 minutes from Bannerman Crossings with excellent food and shops! We are 15 miles/30min from FSU campus.

It comes with a remote so you can control the temperature in the room. Please keep in mind that these units do make some noise. Kitchen is located within the room and comes stocked with main appliances including mini refrigerator, 2 burner stove, pots and pans, toaster, microwave, and coffee maker. Dishes, cups, and utensils are also provided. Snacks and drinks are provided as well. Living area has a sectional, chaise lounge and a wall mounted 42" TV with RoKu. Stairway that leads to the private master suite is located in the front entry so guest will be able to enter and exit as needed. The room has it's own key. There's a park for the kids when you come into the neighborhood and a walking trail behind the house. Please park in the drive way. Small kitchenette is located within the room and comes stocked with main appliances including mini refrigerator, toaster, microwave, and coffee maker. Dishes, cups, and utensils are also provided. This room has a portable air conditioning unit. It comes with a remote so you can control the temperature in the room. Please keep in mind that these units do make some noise. Iron/ ironing board, and all essential toiletries are provided. Room has it's own bathroom with sink and bathtub. Everything you need will be in the room. The room has a separate lock and key. Access to washer and dryer in the main floor of the house. Our home is cleaned before and after each guest. Guest access There is a laundry room on the main floor of our home that guest can use. Other things to note We do have a dog in the home but he is kept on the main floor and away from the guest and private room at all times. We also host other guest in the home but each guest has there private room and bathroom. Guest do not share any spaces with other guest or host except for the laundry area. OUTDOOR PARADISE_____with multiple decks, lights, and a treehouse. The 1-acre lot is private with a thin grove of trees on each side, but it's not completely secluded. We have neighbors, and we ask that you observe quiet hours after 10pm. Music should never be loud enough to disturb the neighbors. THE HOUSE____is clean and charming, but rustic with vintage tile and original windows. We fell in love with it and wanted to share it with others when our family outgrew the space. The custom-built kitchen is stocked with the basics - just add food. Please note that our insurance does not permit us to have pets/animals on the premises. We maintain an ADT security system, and each guest is given a temporary code for their stay. Whether to use it is entirely up to the guest - we have never had cause for concern, but we use this between guests for peace of mind. For the same reason, we also have the Ring video doorbell system set up at our front and back doors. We turn off all notifications once we are notified that guests have arrived, and we turn them back on around check-out. We love children! We can provide a pack-and-play, a high chair, and a few toys. If you would like to use the air mattress, we will set this up for you! If this is in a common area (e.g., library with privacy curtains), this guest will need access to a bathroom in one of the bedrooms.
